Reputable industry source Digital Chat Station has revealed the key camera features of the upcoming HUAWEI P60 smartphone. The presentation of the device should take place in the 1st quarter of 2023.
An insider reports that the main camera module of the smartphone will receive Sony IMX789 and IMX888 sensors. Both sensors will receive support for proprietary technology for changing aperture settings, which previously appeared in the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro. The size of the sensors will be approximately 1/1.4", and the resolution will be 50 megapixels.
Sony IMX789 has previously been used in the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship device. Data on the IMX888 is almost non-existent. In addition, the P60 can get proprietary XMAGE photo processing technologies and an upgraded “super macro” option. When the announcement of the device will take place and how much it will cost is still unknown.
