According to the data received, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will get one productive core with a frequency of 3.36 GHz, three cores at 2.02 GHz and four at 2.8 GHz. The graphics core is represented by the Adreno 740 GPU. The amount of RAM will be 8 GB, and Android 13 will appear on board the smartphone.

According to the results of the tests, the device received 1524 points in single-threaded mode and 4597 points in multi-threaded. In turn, the predecessor in the face of the Samsung Galaxy S22 scored approximately 1200 and 3500 points, which indicates an increase in performance by about 30%. Curiously, in single-core mode, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 falls short of last year's Apple A15 Bionic with its 1,700 points in single-core mode. In multi-threaded mode, the processors are approximately equal in terms of performance.

It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S23 may be presented as early as January next year.
