The prefix will become a competitor for Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, which even the creators themselves spoke about at the special event RazerCon 2022. An external Razer Kishi V2 Pro controller is connected to the new device. The screen of the device has an AMOLED matrix.

The "heart" of the device was the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 chip. It was designed specifically for portable devices. The platform also includes 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. Gamers, if desired, will be able to expand the storage capacity using microSD memory cards. The battery, when fully charged, carries 5000 mAh, which is enough for several hours of gaming sessions in your favorite title.

The device runs under the control of Android 12 with the presence of a proprietary application from Epic Games. NVIDIA GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming services available. Players will also be able to connect to their personal computer libraries through Steaw Link, Moonlight, Parsec and Xbox services.

For many gamers, the sound during the game is also important, so the creators of the console did a good job on the sound: a pair of powerful built-in speakers with adaptive sound support will be responsible for this matter. They will be assisted by two digital microphones.

The load on the hands of a gamer will not become so big: the weight of the console without a body kit is 237 grams (and with a controller - 401). The attachment dimensions are 259.7×84.5×10.83 mm.

The start of sales of the device is scheduled for January 15 next year. For the standard version of the set-top box, which uses purely Wi-Fi, potential buyers will have to pay $399. The 5G version will be sold exclusively to US Verizon users. Also, the vendor will release a special version of the device for particularly demanding customers under the name Edge Founders Edition with branded Hammerhead True Wireless headphones for $499.
