A smart watch from a Chinese company will be presented very soon, and before that there was information about the processor that will equip the device.
OPPO Watch 3 will work on the basis of the recently presented Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 mobile platform. This chip is developed on the basis of a 4-nanometer process technology. It is designed for wearable electronic gadgets, its main advantage is excellent energy efficiency. Compared to the previous model, the processor has doubled the power, while its power consumption has been halved. OPPO's past smartwatches have used the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip, which is based on a 12nm process.
OPPO Watch 3 should be presented in August at a special event, but there is no exact date yet. It is assumed that the company announces three versions of the watch at once. As for the characteristics, the device should receive a square display with miniature frames, eSIM support and an updated ColourOS interface.
