At the end of 2021, the release of the GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition remastered edition took place, which received very low ratings from the specialized press and gamers. Games were scolded for poor quality of execution, bugs and other technical shortcomings. A little later, fans of the series began to show their own versions of how remasters of cult action games from the 3rd person could look like.

So, recently a TeaserPlay user has worked on his version of the improved GTA III. To do this, he used the Unreal Engine 5 engine, City Sample assets from The Matrix Awakens tech demo, and a model of the game's protagonist, developed by designer Hossein Diba. The result was more than impressive, as you can see by watching the video trailer. However, it is unlikely that even Rockstar will be able to make a remaster of this level.

The release of the original GTA III took place in 2001, the game instantly gained wild popularity and became a classic of the genre. Largely thanks to this project, Rockstar Games was able to gain a foothold in one of the leading places in the gaming industry.
