Dyson has developed robots to perform household chores
Dyson has gained popularity largely due to the production of household appliances. However, in fact, the company's activities extend much wider than it might seem at first glance. So, a video recently appeared on the network with a presentation of experimental models of robots designed for washing dishes and cleaning.

The commentary video by Jake Dyson, son of Dyson founder and CEO James Dyson, shows several prototype robots that can vacuum furniture, handle fragile items (such as dishes), set the table, clean up scattered items and move them to another place. At the moment, Dyson plans to create a versatile model that can perform all these duties. According to The Guardian, the first such commercial robot could be released by 2030.

The company intends to attract more specialists to work in this direction. So, at the moment, 250 robotics engineers with experience in the field of computer vision and AI training are being searched. It is planned that in the next 5 years the staff will be replenished by at least 700 specialists. In addition, the company is building a robotics research center at Hullavington Airfield, close to the Dyson Design Center in Malmesbury. Interestingly, this location was planned to be used for the construction of a branded electric car development center, but in 2019 the project was curtailed.
