The creators of Pokémon GO have announced a new project, reminiscent of The Tamagotchi

The authors of Pokémon GO are working on a new game that uses augmented reality technology. In it, the user will grow their own virtual pet.



A project called Peridot will allow players to take care of raising their animal. The gameplay will include the upbringing and customization of the animal, while the pet itself will gain experience, be able to get food and interact with other similar characters of other owners.

There is no exact release date for Peridot yet. Those who wish to test the game will be able to leave a request on the official website.
