Six Ryzen processors have joined the AMD lineup at once. With their help, the company intends to compete with the Intel Core i3 / i5 thanks to a good clock speed for its price segment. In addition, the manufacturer is preparing to launch the first gaming CPU that supports 3D V-Cache technology.

AMD presented gaming Ryzen for $99 and other novelties

The 4-core Ryzen 3 4100 has eight execution threads and a maximum clock speed of 4.0 GHz and 6 MB of "game" cache. The new chip will cost $99 and will be able to support Full HD screen resolution.

The Ryzen 5 4500 and 4600G processors have minor differences in the form of integrated graphics in the second model, as well as frequencies of 4.1 and 4.2 GHz, respectively. They have the same cache size - 11 MB. The cost of the younger model will be $129, and the older one - $154.

The line of more productive solutions has been replenished with the Ryzen 5 5000 models (6 cores, 12 threads, 19 MB cache, frequency 4.2 GHz) and Ryzen 5 5600 (the same number of cores and threads, 35 MB cache and a maximum frequency of 4.4 GHz). New items will cost 159 and 199 dollars. Also included in the 5000-series is the 8-core Ryzen 5700X with a maximum frequency of 4.6 GHz with a TDP of 65 watts. The manufacturer will ask for $299 for it.

All of the new chip models listed above will become available for purchase on April 4th. AMD also revealed the price tag for the previously presented gaming Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96 MB of cache on a separate chip - those who wish will have to fork out for $450. The start of sales of the gaming processor is scheduled for April 20.
