The new Windows 11 update brings even more fresh features and functionality. One of them was the appearance of a store with programs for Android.

So far, the ability to download applications from the Amazon App Store is only available in the United States. The number of available programs in the market exceeds 1000. Downloading can be done through the standard Windows store. In the future, the functionality will become available to users in other regions.

In addition to the introduction of the Android app store, the developers have worked on improving the pre-installed player. Thanks to the changes, the user will be able to view media files on the PC in the shared library. Also, the owner of the computer will be able to specify the directories where you want to search for files. Shortcuts have also been optimized.

The Notepad application received an updated design - now it is designed in the same style with the OS. We also added a dark theme to it, which is activated automatically when you turn on the appropriate color scheme at the system level. In addition, Notepad has simplified menu items, added emoji, and improved the search with replacement algorithm.

The creators have fixed the bugs when connecting an auxiliary display - now it will also display the clock from the taskbar. In addition, the taskbar has simplified access to widgets. For example, to view the weather, you only need to move the mouse cursor to the corresponding icon. Also, when making calls, it became possible to quickly turn on / off the microphone.

When making video calls, it will become easier to share the contents of the window, for which you should move the cursor to the program icon in the taskbar, click on the corresponding item. The update is already rolling out to many regions.
