Lenovo's yet-to-be-announced Ultrabook with the new Alder Lake Intel Core i7-1280P on board has become available in the Geekbench 5 benchmark database. According to the figures presented, the processor outperforms last year's i9-11980HK used in gaming laptops.

The given ultrabook model has a new processor with 14 cores for twenty threads (six cores are computational, the remaining eight are energy efficient). The maximum frequency of the chipset is 4.8 GHz. Also, along with the processor comes LPDDR5 32 GB RAM with a frequency of 2593 MHz.

The device scored 1784 points in single-core testing, and 9790 points during multi-core testing. It is worth saying that chips with the “P” designation in the name have a TDP of 28W (maximum 64W in turbo mode) and are created specifically for thin models. However, the new processor was able to outperform the 8-core gaming Intel Core i9-11980HK with a TDP of 45W.
