Brave Browser Drops Google Search For Its Safe Solution
The creators of the secure and private Brave browser will ditch Google search in their default app. Instead, they will implement their own solution in the form of the search engine Brave Search.

The self-developed search engine Brave Search will be aimed at preserving privacy. It does not track user data, searches, and site visits. For users from the United States, Great Britain and Canada, the search engine will be installed by default in the address bar instead of Google. Also for French and German users, it will replace Qwant and DuckDuckGo systems. In this case, users will be able to change the default search engine in the program settings.

At the moment, Brave Search is available by default in the desktop browser version 1.31, as well as on Android and iOS in versions 1.31 and 1.32, respectively.

Now the search engine does not have ads, but in the future, the developers plan to include it in the free version or provide users with a premium subscription without advertising offers.
