Nvidia-Arm agreement could undermine competition between related companies

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seriously concerned about Nvidia's acquisition of Arm's assets.

The regulator's report says the deal will hurt innovative technologies. In support of its theses, the regulator highlighted several theses about how the deal could harm all parties.

Arm is currently owned by Japanese companies SoftBank Group Corp and Softbank Vision. The first information about this purchase surfaced back in September 2020.
