Intel shares new information on Alder Lake processors
Intel has shared the latest data on Alder Lake chips. In particular, we are talking about the architectural and configuration characteristics of the CPU.

The processors will be made in three versions: stationary LGA 1700, mobile BGA Type3 and Type4. The latest performance promises increased energy efficiency.

The basic chip interfaces will be Compure, I / O and Memory Fabric. Detailed development details have been omitted. However, now it became clear that Alder Lake will support PCle 5.0, and the number of lines will be able to reach sixteen.

Intel claims that four small Gracemont cores will increase efficiency by 80% over Skylake cores. It should be noted that power consumption will be reduced by 80%, and this despite the fact that the old version could not support Hyper-Threading.

At the same time, the company shared information about the new Thread Director hardware task scheduler, the appearance of which is important due to the heterogeneous architecture.

Summing up the freshly obtained data, we can say that Intel will release a product that will have no analogues in the mainstream segment of processors.
