Google has released the latest beta of Android 12
On August 11, Android 12 Beta 4 was released, marking the transition of the system to the next critical stage of Platform Stability. Now OS developers will pay attention to fixing bugs and increasing stability, there will be no more global changes in the system's functionality. Next in line is the pre-release version, coming out a little later in the same month.

The latest release opened up the opportunity for developers to fully start testing their projects. At this stage, they will have an impressive optimization work, since the future Android has a radically changed interface in the Material You style. Google is talking about "the most significant design change in recent years."

Android 12 has other interesting improvements as well. In particular, it is worth noting the privacy panel, where all data protection settings are located. It will also provide program permissions management and warning of any calls to the clipboard. In addition, the OS will receive a plate with gaming functions, the ability to open applications already during installation, and other notable options. The expanded functionality of the new system was announced by Google during the release of the first assembly, then a testing program was launched for Pixel smartphones and eleven other brands.

Android 12 Beta 4 also revealed previously unpublished data on the latest sixth-generation Pixel devices. So, data from the source code says that the camera of fresh gadgets will use a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor and a Samsung Exynos 5123 5G module, which supports a range of less than six gigahertz and the mmWave standard. At the moment, there is a lot of evidence that the sixth generation Pixel hardware is based on the capabilities of processors from a Korean manufacturer with a 5nm process technology.

The release of the final version is scheduled for late August - early September. Last year, Android 11 became available on September 8th.
