Xiaomi is preparing to go on sale two new fifth generation Mi Pad tablets in standard and improved versions. These will be the first devices of the company in this form factor in the last three years.

The younger version of the tablet received a single 13 megapixel main camera, while the older model already has a dual lens with an additional 5 megapixel depth sensor. On the back of the Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G, there is a more advanced 50MP sensor with the same depth sensor. The camera for selfies is 8-megapixel everywhere with support for unlocking the device in the face.
The Mi Pad 5 uses an 8720 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging. The professional version has a slightly less capacious 8600 mAh battery, but the charge power has been increased to 67 W. The thickness of the gadget is 6.86 mm, and the weight is 510 g. The version with the Pro prefix additionally received four Dolby Atmos speakers - a pair on the bottom and top edges of the case. Management will be carried out through the eleventh Android OS with the proprietary MIUI for Pad shell.
